  • 2005-2007 - EASY-ECO "Evaluation of Sustainability: European Conferences and Training Courses"
    This project developed within the EU Marie Curie framework, consists in a series of seven conferences and training courses on evaluation the sustainability, which are scheduled to take place in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the UK. The project aimed to disseminate theory and practical experience among European experts; to provide modular hands-on education in sustainability evaluation addressing young researchers; to increase capacities for sustainability evaluations, especially in the new EU Member States; to give contractors and evaluators an overview on evaluation methods and products available, increasing the market transparency; to promote networking and professional exchange among researchers and practitioners.

  • 2005 - Renewable Energy Sources and Environment Management Friendly ICT Tools
    - RES&EM ICT Tools within the EU Leonardo da Vinci framework. This project has been implemented between 2003-2005 and aimed to develop a dynamic, user-friendly e-Training tool that will empower the interested users to browse along the technological development in RES&EM, sensing good practice projects around the world. As partner in the Working Group "Energy and Environment" together with NCSD, ARCoR performed during the last year of the project the following activities: development of the module Waste and Wastewater -Basic level with the following components: History, Systems, Components, Market, Policies, Social & Environmental Issues, Case studies; presentation of the preliminary project results in the annual meeting of LA21 cities; participation in the project final meeting (Brasov, October, 2005); dissemination of the project results at the international fair: ECOAMBIENTE (Lisbon, November, 2005).
